SFBS Softball Coaching Program 2019

The South Florida Baseball School is proud to announce we are launching a Softball Coaching Program! Led by Women’s College World Series veteran Abigail Valdes, we will be teaching everything from pitching, fielding and hitting to lefty slapping, throwing mechanics and ‘the mental approach’ to softball. Abigail Valdes Bio:

  • Started playing travel ball from 8 years old to 18 years old
  • Traveled around the country and won many state titles and the World Series.
  • Played Varsity softball starting in 7th grade.
  • In high school I was on 1st team all-county, 2nd team all-county, 3rd team all-county, and honorable mention.
  • I pitched all throughout high school and travel ball.
  • I was the 2014 Scholar Athlete from HCA.
  • Was contacted from 8 different colleges.
  • Played college softball at Shorter for four years.
  • During college, played first base, second base, shortstop, 3rd base, left field, and right field.
  • My freshman year I was a Scholar Athlete.
  • My freshman year, my team went to the World Series in Oklahoma City.
  • After college, I was the assistant varsity coach for Pepperell High School and JV Head coach in Rome, Georgia.
